Cancun

I know I am not very good at updating my blog, but I am going to try to do better. So here you go.... A couple of weeks ago I was able to go to Cancun with a couple of my girlfriends.

Helen, Dawn and myself in front of a water fountain the first night we arrived.

Dawn, myself, and Helen waiting to get on the airplane :)

We were able to swim with dolphins. Here is a picture of Helen getting a kiss from a dolphin. It really didn't hurt the sun is in her eyes.

Here is Dawn shaking hands with one of the dolphins we got to play with.

Here I am kissing a dolphin. They kind of feel like smooth rubber. The dolphins were really fun to watch. There were two dolphins that we got to play with. The trainer would tell the dolphins to let us touch their belly. One of the dolphins would let the first couple of people in our group touch his belly then he would get farther away to get ready to swin back to the trainer for his treat.

We relaxed on the beach..

and played in the water. After a long day of relaxing in the sun we would wait for dinner. This night we were waiting for a steak dinner which took about an hour to get in. The other resturants were serving fish and we don't really like seafood. So this is why we look so tired.

The food looked good, but is was really soft and not a lot of flavor. This is a picture of apple pie.

We rode the bus to get around. I think we rode it 6 times and this is the only time we had to sit in the very back. There was a funky smell and it was it was really bumpy in the back. The next stop we were able to move up closer to the front of the bus.

This is a picture of me and Dawn standing by the bus stop. The sign in the back ground is the hotel/resort we stayed at.

All the stops look the same on hotel row. So this statue in the back ground was what we would look for.

One night we went downtown to a restuarant named Senior Frogs. It is a very popular club/resturant. The food was great. This cups had our drinks in them. I have the small one because I had to order off the kids menu for a non-alocholic drink. Helen and Dawn I think had some kind of maragrita, that didn't taste very good, but they drank all of it. I had a pina colada. It was really sweet. At Senior Frogs they had a water slide that goes through the resturant. The water splashing in the back drop is were the peopel would come out.

Here Helen took a picture of me and Dawn while we are waiting for the bus to pick us up.

It was a blast! Next time we have to stay longer.

The beach pics look like they could be right from a post card. Love the craft pics! Wish I lived closer to go crafting with you.
